Men's Chino Pants

A straight-leg chino in classic khaki, cut from a cotton twill with a small amount of stretch worked into the weave. Enough give to sit down, drive, or take stairs two at a time without the fabric fighting you, but not so much that the trouser loses the crisp twill hand that makes a chino read as tailored rather than casual.

The front is flat with no pleats, the rise is mid — sitting just below the natural waist — and the leg runs straight from knee to hem with no taper, finishing at a 16-inch opening that breaks cleanly over a shoe or a trainer. Two slash pockets at the front, two buttoned welt pockets at the back, and a hook-and-bar closure above a single button so the waistband lies flat with no gap.

This is the trouser that goes to an office, a dinner, and a weekend without changing. Wear with the flannel and boots in winter or a plain tee and trainers in summer. Machine wash cold and hang dry; a warm iron restores the crease.
